Spring has definitely arrived
On Friday, I had the opportunity to visit the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn Oregon. It was a gorgeous day and their gardens were stunning.

I always have to find the singleton amongst the crowd. They always stand out.
Annual Assessments
We would like to thank everyone for promptly paying your annual dues.
Unfortunately, we have eight community members who missed the March 31st deadline for some reason. We are sending out reminders to them with the twelve percent penalty added to their bill.
Please remember that banks and title companies are requesting certificate of payment from your HOA when applying for home loans or selling your home. Your HOA will not issue any certificate of payment until all amounts owing are paid.
Landscaping and Maintenance
Andy Edman did a great job repairing our fence along 189th Avenue, replacing a broken post and some planks. We were fortunate not to have more costs because of the January weather.

Your board has engaged a landscaping contractor to do general maintenance to our common areas. This includes the monuments on 111th Street, and 109th Street as well as the path to Victor Falls School, the pathway at 109th, the fence along 189th Avenue, and Tract C, our park off of 188th Avenue.
You will soon be seeing vehicles with the Ground’s Guys logo on them.
They will be coming around twice monthly during the warmer months, and only once monthly during the winter.
A big thank you to Kathleen Edman for her work in getting quotes from local landscape companies so that we could select one which we think will meet our needs.
Work Parties
Kathleen has also been busy organizing some work parties to get our areas cleaned up for our new landscaper. We decided to do this ourselves so as to avoid a one-time charge for this work.
We want to acknowledge Sue Cooper, Alex Juchems, June Scott and others for helping Kathleen with the weeding effort.
