Summer is winding down - time to put away the toys

I hope everyone has had a safe and happy summer.

As it is the middle of September I thought a reminder to all about parking would be in order.

It's time to park the toys in a location where they comply with our CC&Rs:

Article XV. Permitted And Prohibited Uses

Section 7: Parking

Subject to city ordinances and regulations, no vehicles shall be permitted to park on the roads which serve as a means for ingress and egress for a period exceeding 24 hours. No vehicles, including trailers and boats, shall be permitted to park on driveways for a continuous period exceeding 72 hours. The Association shall make such rules and regulations relating to the parking of vehicles and to establish penalties for the violation of said parking rules and restrictions. No trailer, camper, recreational vehicle, house trailer, utility trailer, or boat and/or boat trailer may be kept on any lot unless housed within a garage or suitably screened from view from any Street or road of any other residences. All materials used in screening in order to comply with this provision shall be subject to the provisions of this Declaration.

When the HOA was incorporated, no penalties were ever established, published, or enforced so, at the moment we have no way to make any member respect this section except by shaming.

I have no desire to go down that rabbit hole so I would ask that members respect our agreement and abide by the CC&Rs.

Thanks for your support.

Tract C Maintenance

This morning's work party at Tract C to clear away the pile of chipped branches was a great success.

Organized by Kathleen Edman, the team made short work of the pile left in the Tract C access path, spreading it around in the areas under the trees.

Here are some photos:

Tract C Tree Removal

There were several trees up against the fence in the Tract C area. Your Board of Directors contracted with a removal service to cut them down.

We also asked that the contractor chip up the piles of branches that were scattered about the area.

The bucked tree segments are available to HOA members on a first come first serve basis.
